Professional Development

Whether a supervisor has recommended training for an employee or that individual has identified his/her own need, the Employee and Organizational Development Department works closely with the individual to determine the most appropriate training course and instructional method. Various options are available and include: viewing material available through the training library with additional customized exercises, attending an off-site training workshop or attending an instructional course given on campus. All training programs are evaluated for effectiveness. An attitudinal evaluation form is to be completed by all employees attending training. This can be requested from the Employee and Organizational Development Office at (229)259-5105 and sent to you. Additional evaluation may be given depending on the particular training. This may consist of pre/post testing, post training supervisor review, etc.
