Needs Assessment

The Department assists directors and supervisors in determining the training needs of their unit. The Department utilizes a systematic approach to training where the identification of training needs leads to course development and performance evaluation. Various approaches are used for systematically determining training and development needs. These include, but are not limited to, employee surveys/questionnaires, standardized instruments, interviews, and record reviews.
