Strategic Research and Analysis
The Strategic Research and Analysis serves the university as a whole by providing information to decision-makers both in the form of annual reports, facilities information, and responses to ad-hoc requests as well as enabling Valdosta State University to take an informed and proactive stance on current higher education issues.
The Board of Regents requires that each college/university maintain accurate records of all property and structures owned or leased, as well as an accurate accounting of total square footage and specific uses assigned to that footage. The database containing this information is maintained by Institutional Research. Facility type information available on this website is:
- Under the Strategic Research and Analysis Resources section:
- Fact Books: each yearly fact book contains facility data like VSU facilities by gross area (square footage) and campus facility descriptions.
- Spring 2006 Facilities Report: Detailed information on each campus building including number of rooms, room usage, room numbers, number of floors, occupancy, and gross square footage.
