Disqualification of Applicants
Based on Board of Regents Policy and Valdosta State University policy and procedures dated October 18, 2002, the following standards apply to all applicants:
- Conviction of a criminal, final drug offense shall disqualify a candidate for not less than two years
- Multiple criminal drug offenses shall disqualify an applicant for employment or re-employment for a period of five years from the most recent date of conviction.
- Conviction of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude shall disqualify the applicant , unless a pardon has been granted.
