Compliance Month
VSU’s Institutional Compliance Program was created to assure that the university meets its commitment to comply with all laws, regulations, and policies in its operations. The month of September has been designated Training and Compliance Awareness Month at VSU. All VSU faculty and staff employees hired before or on 12/31/2010 are required to complete all components of the Annual Compliance Training course in BlazeVIEW. All Employees hired on or after January 1, 2011 should have completed these requirements within the first 90 days of employment and are not required to complete them again until September 2012.

STUDENT EMPLOYEES (Student Assistants, Work-Study and Graduate Assistants)

JOB SPECIFIC TRAINING
Certain jobs on campus require additional training based on the type of work you perform. For job specific training requirements, please check with your supervisor to ensure compliance during the month of September. Offices such as Environmental and Occupational Safety can provide additional information and assistance with job specific safety and environmental training.
