VSU was pleased to welcome William R. Bowes to the university campus on March 4. Vice Chancellor Bowes has been with the university system of Georgia since being hired by the Board of Regents in 1995. In June 2001, Mr. Bowes was named vice chancellor for fiscal affairs. Mr. Bowes is responsible for managing the annual budget development and allocation process for the University System and for overseeing the development and implementation of the Board of Regents' fiscal policies and procedures. He also serves as Treasurer for the Board of Regents. He has more than 20 years' experience in public higher education and government, all of which he gained prior to coming to Georgia in various positions in Connecticut. Related Story
