Welcome Faculty and Staff
Hundreds of dedicated people with diverse abilities and backgrounds contribute to the mission of Valdosta State University. Whether we are teachers, administrators, or service support individuals, we all play a part in supporting and preparing students to meet global opportunities and challenges.
The university mission is accomplished within an academic and administrative framework based on the functional duties performed by the President’s Cabinet. This structure enables VSU leaders to anticipate, plan and respond to the challenges and changing needs of students, faculty and staff.
The President’s Cabinet administrative areas are as follows:

Each division represented above has many individual departments that are engaged in constant support and service for the university community. If you not familiar with the hierarchy of Valdosta State, here are two alphabetical indexes to describe departmental activities:
