UPDATED TEACHING AND LEARNING TOOLS
The University System of Georgia Office of Faculty Development launched the updated Teaching and Learning Resources website. The site is a centralized location with information to enhance teaching and learning.
The updates include links to online and face-to-face faculty development sessions, iTunesU archives as well as links to journals and scholarly articles.
Suggestions for content or additional resources are welcome and may be submitted on the Contact Us page. Check out the Office of Faculty Development on Facebook!
Student Employment Advisory Committee
The Student Employment Office, in collaboration with the Graduate School, has created the Student Employment Advisory Committee (SEAC), an organization with the sole mission to act as a liaison between the students employed on campus and their supervisors. The SEAC is to be comprised of student assistants, work-study students and graduate assistants.

Summer Professional Development Seminars
Defensive driving, turning conflict into communication and various computer software reviews are among the range of diverse summer professional development opportunities for faculty, staff and student employees.
Look through the Summer 2011 Professional Development Booklet at the Employee Development website. Click on the booklet icon and download the document. One copy per department is being sent through Campus Mail.

Check out the latest edition of the VSU Voice — meant to inform alumni and constituents about VSU news and excite them about the achievements of those who once walked through its halls.
The Valdosta Scholar, launched last year, is a full-color publication designed to highlight scholarship, research and other discipline-based inquiry.
The VSU Communications Unit, Creative Design Services and Graduate School collaborate to produce the annual publication. Read the latest edition, Momentum Inspiring Scholarship, online.
