Event Services
The Department of Event Services assists VSU recognized student organizations and departments with reserving facilities on campus for meetings and events. In addition to reserving indoor and outdoor venues, Event Services also offers tents, Super Cooker grills, water hoses, podium drapes, and display tableclothes for use on campus. The department also maintains the daily operations of the conference center located on the north end of the University Center. Reservations need to be made a minimum of two weeks in advance due to high volume of requests. Requests can be made in the office or online.

Stop by to reserve your space at the UC- North conference and meeting center. The UC reopened a sleek and modern look created by the combined building and design efforts of SC Barker Construction, Ivan Allen interior design, and Santiago Iturralde of Insilico Design Studio. The renovation added new rooms to better benefit the campus and community as a state of the art event facility in Valdosta. The former game room is now the Cypress Room, a banquet facility for 150. The old computer lab was converted into the Live Oak Conference Room. Also, the Willow Conference Room has taken the place of a former study room. The computer lab is now located on the old stage in the Food Court. Tours and events can be arranged by contacting Event Services at 333-5998.
