The group departs for London June 17th and returns to Atlanta July 23, 2010. Seventeen classes are offered, representing a range of upper and lower-level courses, each course carrying three semester hours of credit. Students take one or two three-hour courses, with class sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays. Half the courses meet in the morning and half meet in the afternoon. Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for required field trips.

On the first weekend, the program offers a walking tour of central London that acquaints program participants with the city of London and the Bloomsbury community. After the first weekend, students have three-day weekends to explore London, other parts of Britain, and Europe.

The London Study Program is based at University College, part of the University of London, in central London. Three London underground stations are within a walk of 5-10 minutes, offering access to the entire city. The location is also a short walk from Oxford Street and its fashionable shops. Cafes, restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores surround the UCL campus.

UCL is well placed for students to enjoy the United Kingdom beyond London, using the British Rail connection. Many students take day trips to Windsor, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Canterbury, and other nearby cultural and historic centers. Many also spend two-or-three-day weekends visiting other parts of Britain or the European continent.
