Arrival Information
Valdosta is easily reached by plane, bus, or automobile. I-75, a major Interstate, connects Valdosta to many major cities, such as Atlanta and Gainesville, FL.

Orientation
Before classes begin each term, the ELI offers orientation for all new students. Students will learn about the program, take placement tests, and register for classes. They will also learn about Valdosta State University programs and campus life. It is advisable to arrive at least three days before the term starts.

On campus you will find many things to occupy your time. Whether you like to eat (VSU has a dining center, several grills and snack bars and a fast food restaurant) or relax by the pool, VSU has much to offer.
