Topic:
Adapting to the Future USG LMS: What's in Store for Faculty?
Thursday, February 16, 2012
1:30 - 2:30 PM
As the University System of Georgia transitions to a new Learning Management System, faculty will be involved with multiple activities in preparation for making this transition a successful one. What are those activities? What do I as a faculty member really need to do and do now? What can I expect as the migration to a new LMS takes place? What's the impact on my actual course? Once my course has been migrated to the new LMS, what should I do then? How do I learn to use this new LMS?
All these questions as well as many, many more are on the minds of faculty. Dr. Rogers will address these questions and others he anticipates faculty will have as well as respond to queries from the audience.
