Students enrolled in the program will complete all work via the online courses. Candidates who are not in the P-12 educational setting may be allowed to vary the organizing content, level of modules produced, and environment for delivery of instruction to target learners in consultation with the course instructors.
All courses
1) require students to build and manage a module of varying complexity,
2) require students to build a syllabus, and
3) require students to build and maintain a best practices knowledge management system including reflection, self-assessment, and Online Teaching Endorsement Competency Checklist. CIED 7601 and 7602 require students to act as both teacher and learner and employ Weekly Scenarios as instruction/assessments.
