Therapy Groups - spring 2012
Groups are open to students, they meet weekly and they are ongoing throughout the semester. For more information about group therapy including what to expect from your experience please see Group Therapy Information. If you are interested in the following group, please contact the VSU Counseling Center at 333-5940 for enrollment information.
SEXUAL ASSAULT SURVIVORS SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is specifically designed for women who have or are suffering from sexual abuse and/or sexual assault trauma. “Become Encouraged, Empowered and United.” If you’d like to participate, you MUST sign-up in advance by contacting The Counseling Center at 333-5940. Group availability is dependent upon interest.
FIRST GENERATION COLLEGE STUDENT SUPPORT GROUP
If you are a VSU student, age 18-24, who is the first in your family to attend college, join us for the First Generation College Student Support Group. Come share with other students and learn important skills and information to help you succeed. Sessions will begin soon; time to be decided. If you’d like to participate, you MUST sign-up in advance by contacting The Counseling Center at 333-5940. Group information is dependent upon interest.
