Rebecca Murphy has presented COSA with a
training course for the COSA membership to attend in December to help each of
us to better serve the staff employees at VSU.
Old Business
Debra Holley reported on the University
System of Georgia Staff Conference at Milledgeville, Ga. This was her first
conference and she was very excited about the whole affair. She realized what
we as staff could do to help each other. She was impressed with how the
conference was ran and how smoothly things went. She was
glad to have the opportunity to go and see how other universities worked.
Inman Grimsley reported that the Welfare
committee needed to meet to help form the fundraising committee. We need to
find other staff members to help on this committee.
Ann Lacey reported that she hasn't
finished the final report on the Staff Day. She has received a lot of surveys
back from the staff members. She will try to have the report done by the next
meeting.
New Business
Inman reported that
November is open enrollment for all VSU employees. So if there is something you
want to change on your benefits now is the time to do it.
There being no
further discussion or business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 am and will meet again on December
