Crafty Critters (Grades K - 2nd)
Think humans are smart? Wait until you see what birds and otters and even ants can do! Take a new look at the world of animals and discover how animals use special abilities to find food, make shelters, and protect themselves and their families.

Homemade Chemistry (A) (Grades 3rd - 5th)
Learn about chemistry concepts using simple household products. Each Saturday, a demonstration of a concept will be conducted followed by a brief discussion. Then it will be your turn to perform an in-class experiment reinforcing the concept. Homework experiments leading into the principle for the following week will handed out at the end of each class

Babysitting 101 (Grades 5th - 8th)
This class is designed to develop your leadership skills and lose the “I am in control” attitude. You will learn how to make smart and safe decisions, what to watch for while on the “job” and how to pick the best stuff to do. This course will cover the basics of first-aid, how not to freak out in an emergency, diapering, holding, and dressing babies, and how to find a good babysitting gig!

Lighten Up (Grades K - 2nd)
Bring light into your art and use it as a tool. Learn to make colorful window art, made to sit in the sunlight. Create suncatchers and reflective art projects to hang in the light using foils and other reflective materials. You will leave this class with bright and brilliant artwork!

Join this creative class where you get to express your ideas through movement! Learn the art and techniques of dance in a fun, child-centered atmosphere. Improve your strength, balance, and coordination.

Masters of Disasters: Be Disaster Safe (B) (Grades 3rd - 5th)
Participate in games, role-playing, and activities to learn about disasters common to our area – fire, tornadoes, hurricanes, lightning, and wildfires. Learn about the disaster cycle; how to prepare, respond, and recover from disasters. This class will use Red Cross Masters of Disasters program materials.
