Take to the stage this week! Learn the basics of drama by playing theater games and acting out skits from some favorite storybooks. You will explore the world of sound effects and stage makeup, too. Show your family what you have learned at a performance on Friday!

Horsemanship 101, Section A Ages 6-8
Learn beginning riding at a working horse farm! Campers will learn proper mount, dismount and riding techniques, as well as how to groom, saddle and bridle horses. Wear long pants and solid, hard-bottom shoes. Off-site location: Jacobs’ Ladder Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc., 5866 Bradford Road North, Hahira. Directions will be sent with your receipt.
Maximum number in camp is 10, so sign up early!

Tennis, Anyone? Ages 9 and up Come develop your basic tennis skills, then progress to more advanced skills including agility drills, singles matches, doubles tennis, mini games and contests, and end with a tennis tournament. Maybe you will be the grand master champion! Camp will be held at the VSU tennis courts; parking for drop-off and pick-up in the West end of the Education Center parking lot. All you need to bring is your tennis racquet, hat and sunscreen. Water will be available on-site.

Animals in the Outback Ages 6-8
Do you like cute koalas, wacky wallabies and kickin’ kangaroos? Then this class is for you! Learn about Australian Aboriginal art and create your own paintings of animals native to Australia. Wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, or bring an old shirt to wear over your clothes.

Tennis FUN Ages 6-8
Learn the basic skills of tennis, from gripping the racquet to proper forehand/backhand swings and serving. Play tennis games, have skills contests, and most of all have fun while learning! Digital Photography Ages 9 and up
Campers must bring their own digital camera, plus a memory card or stick. Learn the basic elements of digital photography, including finding cool subjects, lighting, composition, and taking great pictures of your friends in action! Learn the functions of your camera, work on shooting photos (indoors and out), then spend some time in the computer lab learning how to edit your photos and turn them into a slide show.
