Yoga
Relaxing yoga class designed to improve muscle strength, enhance flexibility and reduce stress. Students should bring a yoga mat to class. YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR ONE OR BOTH SECTIONS.

Water Aerobics
Aerobics in the water is a great way to get in shape. Using the water’s resistance tones the muscles and creates definition. Enrollment limited to 30. YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR ONE OR BOTH SECTIONS.

Basic Line Dancing
An introduction to line dancing for those with little or no experience.

Intermediate Line Dancing
This class is geared toward people who have taken beginning line dancing or who have some line dancing experience.

Chair Aerobics
Exercise is one of the best things we can do for ourselves. This program is a safe and effective way to improve cardiovascular health, burn fat, tone muscle and improve coordination. The class provides a fun and easy way to feel great while trimming from top to bottom. Exercises can be performed standing or sitting. Also included will be upper body toning, abdominal work, stretching and relaxation for a total body workout. Wear comfortable clothing and bring weights of 1-3 pounds.

Bowling
Join us for a little healthy exercise and, if there is enough interest, an LIR bowling league! Meet at Jac’s Lanes on Connell Road. You must have bowling shoes or rent them. Bowling balls are available. Cost will be $1.25 per game (to be paid on site).

Get Active: Proper Equipment Selection
This class will allow you to make an informed decision with regard to proper personal equipment selection for the active person. Information will include basic shoe selection based on size, width, arch and level of pronation (ankle movement). During the class you will learn how to be properly fitted for a shoe and what to look for in a shoe. You will leave informed of what to look for in a store and a shoe. Bring your current exercise shoes and Orthotics (if any) to class.

Starting a Walking/Jogging Program
Fundamentals of starting a program mixed in with tricks for the accomplished. Rules of thumb, measuring techniques, resources and events to participate in locally will be available. Bring your passion to be active to class!
