directions to PE COMPLEX parking

Due to heavy traffic congestion on Baytree Rd., alternate directions have been provided below for access to Guest Parking located in the Oak Street Parking Lot and Parking Deck. For those requiring special accomodations parking, please see alternate directions below for parking in the PE Complex Lot. It is suggested that the disabled and elderly arrive early to ensure convenient parking.

Accessibility Directions to PE Complex handicap

    • Follow Interstate 75 to Exit 18 and travel east into Valdosta on St. Augustine Rd.
  • Turn Left at 2nd traffic signal onto Norman Dr.
  • At the 2nd traffic signal turn Right onto Baytree Rd.
  • At the 3rd traffic signal turn Right onto Sustella Ave.
  • Take 1st Left into PE Complex Parking Lot. Officer will be on hand checking for permits.

 

Accessibility Parking

The PE Complex Parking Lot has been designated for accessiblitiy parking on a first-come, first-serve basis. A state handicap parking permit is required. Please limit handicap parking to those that truly require special accomodations.

 


 

 

 

From Interstate 75- North to PE Complex

  • Follow Interstate 75 South to Exit 22 (North Valdosta Rd)
  • Turn RIGHT off exit ramp, traveling East on North Valdosta Rd. into Valdosta.
  • Continue to follow the road until you pass Winn Dixie on your right. Here North Valdosta turns into Patterson St.
  • Continue to follow Patterson St. for several blocks, passing Main Campus on your right.
  • At the next traffic signal, turn RIGHT onto Brookwood Dr.
  • At the next intersection, go STRAIGHT, crossing over Oak St. into the Oak St. Parking Lot and Parking Deck.
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE complex entrance.

Interstate 75- South to PE Complex

  • Follow Interstate 75 to Exit 16.
  • Turn LEFT off the Exit Ramp, traveling East on U.S. 84.
  • U.S. 84 becomes St. Augustine Rd.
  • Continue on St. Augustine Rd.until you reach the 3rd traffic signal at Lankford Dr.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Lankford Dr.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Gordon St.
  • Continue East on Gordon St. until you reach the intersection of Oak St.
  • Turn LEFT onto Oak St., traveling North towards the VSU Campus.
  • Turn LEFT at the first traffic signal into the Oak St. Parking Lot and Parking Deck, adjacent to the PE Complex.
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE Complex entrance.

From Waycross on U.S. 84 (from east) to PE Complex

  • When entering Valdosta, U.S. 84 becomes Hill Ave.  Follow Hill Ave. to the center of the city (courthouse).
  • Turn RIGHT onto Ashley St. (one-way north).
  • Stay in extreme left lane which will become a left-turn-only lane after two blocks.
  • Turn LEFT onto Magnolia St. and go one block.
  • Turn RIGHT onto N. Patterson St.
  • Follow N. Patterson St. until you reach the intersection of Brookwood Dr.
  • Turn LEFT onto Brookwood Dr. (main campus will be on your left)
  • At the next traffic signal, go STRAIGHT crossing over Oak St. into the Oak St. Parking Lot and Parking Deck.
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE Complex entrance.

From Douglass on U.S. 221 to PE Complex

  • When approaching Valdosta, U.S. 221 becomes Park Ave.
  • Continue west on Park Ave until you reach the intersection of N. Patterson St.
  • Turn LEFT onto N. Patterson St. and head South approximately 6 blocks. VSU main campus will be on your right.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Brookwood Dr.
  • Continue STRAIGHT through the next traffic light crossing over N. Oak St into the Oak St Parking Lot and Parking Deck.
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE Complex entrance.

From Thomasville on U.S. 84 (from west) to PE Complex

  • Follow U.S. 84 to Valdosta, crossing under Interstate 75 ( Exit 16)
  • Continue East, U.S. 84 will become Hill Ave.
  • Turn LEFT onto St. Augustine Rd (the intersection of Hill Ave. and St. Augustine)
  • Travel several blocks until you reach the traffic signal at Lankford Dr.
  • Turn RIGHTat 2nd traffic signal onto Lankford Dr.
  • At the next traffic light turn RIGHT onto Gordon St.
  • Continue East on Gordon until you reach the intersection of Oak St.
  • Turn LEFT onto Oak St. traveling north towards the VSU campus.
  • At the first traffic signal, turn LEFT into the Oak St. Parking Lot and Deck, adjacent to the PE Complex
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE Complex entrance.

From Moultrie on Ga. 133 to PE Complex

  • Follow Ga. 133 East into Valdosta. Pass over Interstate 75 (exit 18) and Ga. 133 then becomes St. Augustine Rd.
  • Continue East on St. Augustine Rd. until you reach the 3rd traffic signal, Lankford Dr.
  • Turn LEFT onto Lankford Dr.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Gordon St
  • Continue East on Gordon St. until you reach the intersection of Oak St.
  • Turn LEFT onto Oak Sr., traveling north towards the VSU Campus.
  • Turn LEFT at the first traffic signal into the Oak St. Parking Lot and Parking Deck, adjacent to the PE Complex.
  • There is no charge for parking in the Parking Decks or Lots.
  • After parking, signage will direct you down the sidewalk to the PE Complex entrance.
