COMM 7999 or MDIA 7999: Thesis: 6 hours
Thesis defense and examination.
Non-Thesis Option

Mass Media or Speech Communication Emphasis: 18 hours
COMM 7000 or electives outside department selected with approval of advisor: 6 hours
Requires written and oral comprehensive exams over all courses in the degree.
