Please consider being a scholarship patron by contributing additional dollars to our scholarship fund that helps tremendously by attracting top quality students to our program.  As a scholarship patron you automatically receive two season memberships (14 admissions for the seven productions which comprise out 2009-2010 theatre and dance season.)  Additionally, your name will be listed in all printed programs for the season (unless you wish to remain anonymous.)  Contributions can be made in the following categories.

SEASON MEMBERSHIPS

Purchase Season Memberships Now

          A season membership costs only $55.64 [$52.00 + 3.64 in sales tax] and is a significant savings on a single adult admission to each production of the season.  VSU Faculty and Staff may purchase a season membership for $48.15 [$45.+ 3.15 in sales tax].  Each membership includes seven admissions which can be used for a single admission to each show or grouped as the member desires. We will send reminders when it is time to reserve your seats for each upcoming production.

To purchase memberships, simply write a check in the amount of value of the number of memberships needed made payable to VSU Theatre & Dance. Then mail the check to:

* VSU Students are admitted free of charge, with the presentation of a valid VSU as seats are available. VSU Students can reserve a seat by stopping by the box office during regular box office hours and leaving a $5 reservation deposit. The deposit is refunded when the student picks up the ticket at the time of the performance. Those not picking up their reservations forfeit the deposit.

Box Office

The VSU Theatre & Dance Box Office is open from 2 - 5 P.M. Mondays through Saturdays. Contact the box office for advance reservations and information about season memberships. The Box Office phone number is (229) 333-5973.

All evening performances are at 7:30 P.M. Matinees are presented on Sundays at 3:00 P.M. The Theatre-For-Youth production will be presented Saturday, February 6 at 10:00 A.M.

Tickets can be picked up outside the production's specific performance venue approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. Please note: the Lab Theatre is on the second floor of the Fine Arts Building.

Visitors to the campus should allow sufficient time to travel, park, and walk to the theatre. A new parking deck is open in the large lot immediately west of the Fine Arts Buidling. Other parking is available in the Toomb Street lot south of the Fine Arts Building (about 1/2 block away) and in the University Center lot, southeast of the Fine Arts Building (about 1 block away.)

Sales Policies

All sales on season memberships are final.
All sales on individual tickets to specific performances are final.
Sales tax is added to the purchase price of the tickets and/or memberships.
A surcharge is added to each online purchase.

Reservation Policies Advance Reservations are strongly encouraged.
Reservations can be picked up outside Sawyer Theatre approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. TICKETS RESERVED BUT NOT YET PAID FOR NOR PICKED UP WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF CURTAIN

Tickets can be purchased without an advance reservation, subject to availability, 30 minutes prior to curtain.
Delivery Policy

VSU Theatre - Dance does not mail or deliver tickets to performances.

Prepaid tickets are held at the box office, see above.

Reservations are held at the box office, see above.

Postponed/Cancelled Event In the instance that an event is postponed due to force majeur or any other condition, Valdosta State University and VSU Theatre-Dance is not responsible for the refund of individual tickets or season memberships. The ticket stub from a post-poned performance will serve as an admission ticket to the rescheduled event. No refund will be provided if the ticket holder cannot attend the rescheduled event.
In the event that a performance is cancelled and not rescheduled, the admission ticket to the cancelled performance may be used as a general admission to another performance during that season.
Assumption of Risk Audience members voluntarily assume all risks and danger of personal injury and all hazards arising from or related in any way to this event, where occuring prior to, during, or after the event. Audience members enter at their own risk and should pay attention at all times.
Privacy Policy & Conditions of Sale

VSU Theatre-Dance outsources its box office services to Vendini, the provider of the ticketing service. Vendini values the privacy of our members and customers. Vendini does not sell any personal information to other companies.

Vendini provides VSU Theatre-Dance statistics in aggregate so VSU Theatre-Dance can track the effectiveness of their online ticket sales. Vendini will also provide VSU Theatre-Dance with enough information to provide VSU Theatre-Dance ticket purchasers with tickets and for promotional purposes.

In keeping to the highest web standards, Vendini would like to detail what information we use, and how we use it:

Server Logs
Vendini application servers store your IP address in standard server logs. Vendini uses your IP address to diagnose problems, optimize, and maintain its servers. Vendini also may use this information in aggregate to provide statistics to our members.

Cookies
Vendini uses cookies to keep track of your individual session state; how many tickets, what event, etc. This also allows Vendini to differentiate you from another customer.

Vendini does not belong to any group that track users across web sites.

Contact and Personal Information
Vendini reserves the right to share a member's and customer's contact and personal information with individuals and/or entities for legitimate purposes such as copyright infringement claims brought against a member for the images found in it. Vendini would use this information only as necessary.

If Vendini does use mailing lists for advertising or promotional purposes, Vendini will always have a clear mechanism for you to remove yourself from future mailings.

Vendini may require information for shipping and billing. Vendini may use this information for promotional purposes if you explicitly granted us permission. Without explicit permission, Vendini will not use any addresses gathered through our service except for order processing. Addresses are never shared with parties other than our members.
