Accreditation and National Recognition

The College of Education and Human Services at Valdosta State University is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation and is an American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) award winning institution. We continually strive for excellence with each renewal of accreditation. Each individual teacher preparation program at the College of Education and Human Services is approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) and many of these programs are also nationally recognized by specialized professional associations (SPA).
