Departmental Advisory Council

Member Profiles                   Meeting Minutes

The mission of the Marriage & Family Therapy Departmental Advisory Council is to enhance the opportunities and experiences of students in the Marriage and Family (MFT) Department by identifying and recommending improvements to the curriculum, clinical training experiences, to channel to the program the issues that are at the forefront of MFT employers and consumers so the program can stay at the cutting edge of clinical training. Having stakeholders from key areas in the mental health landscape serve in an advisory role to the department allows the department to benefit from their perspective and to have input and influence on the curriculum, policies, practices, and clinical training opportunities so that the department can continue to meet the needs of students, employers, and the mental health community.

The Marriage & Family Therapy Departmental Advisory Council meets twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring semester.
