M.Ed. Higher Education Leadership

Program Description

The Higher Education Leadership program prepares graduates for management and administrative positions in a variety of fields, including athletics, admissions, academic advising, residence life, student activities, financial aid, institutional research, career services, multicultural services, and offices designed to support the college experience and student development. The Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership program allows students to develop as practitioners and professionals through a blend of classroom learning and practical experience. Students are immersed in the operations of academic affairs as well as student services in the higher education field.

Cost and Length of Program

The prescribed M.Ed. course sequence will allow you to complete the course requirements of the program within 2 years. Costs will also vary by student because we allow transfer credit for up 2 qualified courses. Based on completing 36 course hours, the cost of the program for the administrative track is approximately $10, 260 and for the 42 course hour student affairs track it is *$11, 920; this is not including standard University fees. Many of our students have graduate assistantships which includes a tuition waiver regardless of in-state/out-state status. Please contact us to inquire about these opportunities.
