Graduate Degree ProgramsDEGREE PROGRAMS:
Master of Music Performance in Piano is designed for students who are intent on pursuing a career in piano performance. Students will receive two fifty-minute lessons a week and are required to perform a graduate recital. Performance opportunities include studio class, studio recitals, student recitals, guest master classes, state piano competitions, and the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition.
Three advanced pieces in contrasting styles to be performed by memory
Two major and harmonic minor scales and arpeggios, four octaves ascending and descending, hands in parallel motion, to be performed as rapidly as possible
