Hello and Welcome to Valdosta State University. My name is Douglas N. Robinson and I am an instructor for the Criminal Justice program.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology degree from Florida State University in May 1995. I am also a graduate of our program, obtaining a Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree in May 2002.

I have been an instructor of Criminal Justice at VSU since August 2002. I currently teach in the traditional and online programs, teaching introduction to Criminal Justice, survey of Law Enforcement, Ethics in Criminal Justice, Seminar in Law Enforcement, Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.

In addition to my teaching, my real experience comes from the streets. I began my Criminal Justice career as a Deputy Correctional Officer with Leon County Sheriff’s office, Tallahassee, Florida.
