Robert G. Johnston, Ph.D., CCC/SLP

Dr. Johnston has focused most of his teaching and research in the area of applied speech physiology.  He has authored programs of intervention that apply basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology to voice, fluency and articulation disorders.  The Voice Index and the Voice Companion, are examples of physiological and performance based assessment and intervention instruments.  Work with laryngectomized patients in restoring communication and emotional health is ongoing.
