Appointed to a task force by the State Department of Education to advise, develop, and organize curriculum for programs for children 0 - 3 and preschoolers for the state of South Carolina

Selected as a member of the South Carolina Interdisciplinary Faculty Team (12 members) and participated in the Southeastern Institute for Faculty Training in Flatrock, North Carolina sponsored by the U. S. Department of Education, August 1993.

Appointed to the Advisory Committee to Project Enhancement: Assistive Technology for 0- 3, sponsored by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities, September 1993-1996.

Governor's appointment for four years to the Board of Directors to South Carolina Protection and Advocacy System for the Handicapped Inc., September 1993-1996, for the state of South Carolina.

Clinical/Research Interests:

My current clinical and research interests include language and reading and phonological disorders.   Research projects currently being conducted include Collaborative Partnerships and decision making in the schools with SLP and teachers.  Beta Study with online modular  for Specialists who work with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Infants.
