VSU SCHOLARSHIPS AND AID
The mission of the Office of Financial Aid is to help students achieve their educational potential by providing appropriate financial resources. The Office of Financial Aid is committed to removing financial barriers for those who wish to pursue post-secondary education at Valdosta State University. Valdosta State University offers five different types of financial aid: scholarships, grants, loans, work study opportunities and HOPE.

TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR EMPLOYEES
The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is a ystem-wide employee supplemental educational assistance program was implemented in the Spring Semester 2005. Read more about the program, which enables full-time employees to take up to eight credit hours for free at, www.usg.edu/hr/benefits/tuition_assistance_program_tap/.
The Blazer Book Awards: The VSU Council for Staff Affairs (COSA) partnered with University Advancement to fun the Blazer Book Awards, which provides eligible employees participating in the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) with funds to pay for college text books.
