Parking and Transportation

Pay for your parking permit, appeal citations and download parking and shuttle guides at the Web site or visit the Parking & Transportation Office on the first level of the Sustella Deck, 1500 N. Patterson Street. You may also call the office at 229-293-7275.

1 Card Services

Returning Students who need to replace a lost/stolen ID may visit the VSU 1 Card Office located at 1204 N. Patterson Street. Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Payment of the current replacement fee will be required before a new card is made.

New Students may have their VSU 1 Card made during their scheduled Orientation session. After you register for classes please visit the VSU 1 Card Office located at 1204 N. Patterson Street to have a card made. You MUST present a government issued form of photo identification, such as a driver's license, to have a VSU 1 Card made and one other form of identification.

Employees may obtain a VSU 1 Card by coming by the VSU 1 Card Office located at 1204 N. Patterson Street with a picture ID and employment paperwork from the VSU Human Resources Department. Should your department change, report to the Human Resources Department and you will be given the appropriate paperwork to bring with you to the 1 Card Office in order to have a new card made reflecting any change.

Student Health Center

The Student Healthprovidse optimum health care in a convenient location for undergraduate and graduate students in a compassionate, confidential manner. Normal Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM. Appointments are needed to see the Doctor, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistants. Call early in the week to reserve your time — (229) 219-3200.

Access Office for Students with Disabilities
The Access Office for Students with Disabilities (Access Office) serves students who have documented disabilities, have met all of the VSU admission criteria, and are otherwise qualified. Contact the Access Office at 229-245-2498 (V/VP), 229-219-1348 (TTY) or via e-mail at access@valdosta.edu.

Counseling Center
The mission of The Counseling Center is to provide a broad range of services to meet the personal, social, and educational needs of our students, faculty and staff. The center is located on the second floor of Powell Hall, East. Call 229-333-5940 to make a confidential appointment.

The purpose of the Odum Library is to be a major educational and cultural resource of the University by providing bibliographic and reference support to the academic programs of the University. Search the library's extensive databases or reserve a book through inter-campus library loan.
