To be considered for admission to the certification only program, the applicant must hold a Level 6 or higher certificate. The applicant must have a passing score on the GACE Leadership assessment and be serving in a leadership role.

Candidates must also submit a Superintendent’s Assurance Form verifying the required leadership role. Examples include, but are not limited to; team leader, grade chair, department chair, SACS team chair, academic coach, school improvement team leader, athletic director, assistant principal,  principal, curriculum coordinator, or special education director.

The candidate must be admitted to the Graduate School as either a degree or non-degree seeking student.
