Dental Hygiene (AAS)
| The Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene is a joint degree program between VSU and Valdosta Technical College. Students are required to complete 44 hours of academic core course requirements from VSU and 48 hours of clinical courses from Valdosta Technical College. Twenty hours of the coursework (must be completed at VSU before being admitted to Valdosta Technical College.
This program is a limited enrollment program. Valdosta Technical College accepts 14 new students each fall into the clinical program. Students must apply separately for admission to Valdosta Technical College. The coordinator of the Valdosta Technical College program is Ms. Sandi Woodward; her telephone number is 229-245-3716. Admission to the clinical program is a decision made solely by Valdosta Technical College. Completion of the required coursework at VSU does NOT guarantee admission to the clinical program at Valdosta Technical College. |
