Business Education (B.S.Ed)
The Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a major in Business Education is designed for students who are planning to teach business courses at the middle school, high school, or technical college level. Completion of the program provides certification in Business Education for grades 7 -12.
The focus of the program is on the development of content knowledge and the development of skills related to planning, delivering, and evaluating instructional experiences. The academic course requirements for the B.S.Ed. in Business Education requires the completion of 60 semester hours of core courses at VSU, plus 60 semester hours of major courses. This major also requires the completion of 6 semester hours of health-related courses.
