Joint Degree Program (AAS)The Associate of Applied Science degree is a "two-year" college degree that combines academic courses with technical courses. Students complete the technical portion of their program at a selected Georgia technical college and complete academic course requirements at VSU. Valdosta State University offers an AAS degree in cooperation with the following technical colleges in Georgia: East-Central Technical College The AAS degree is offered with a major in health, services, business, and technology. | To receive the Associate of Applied Science degree at VSU, students must complete an approved program of study at one of the four cooperating technical colleges and academic courses at VSU.
Other technical colleges in Georgia offer programs that lead to the AAS degree at various colleges and universities throughout the state. Contact the technical colleges directly to inquire about cooperative AAS degree programs offered there. |
