The Minor in Dance Arts


Students in other majors may choose to take a minor in Dance Arts consisting of 18 semester hours in DANC course work.

All students in the minor must take 8 hours of the following:

DANC 3000

Dance Composition

DANC 3410

Dance History

DANC 3500

Teaching Dance Techniques.

And one of the following for 1-3 hours:

DANC 3200

Dance Ensemble

DANC 3300

Special Topics in Dance

In addition, students have a choice of the following courses (7-8 hours):
