VSU group Study Abroad Programs
VSU offers study abroad programs in which students travel together, accompanied by faculty, for a few weeks during the summer.The programs combine classroom instruction with field trips and independent travel opportunities.Check out here for more information on any of the programs described below.

Spend 4 weeks in the cultural heart of Japan. Study Japanese language and Japanese Film. ![]() Live and Learn in the Czech Republic |
During Maymester the Department of Psychology and Counseling offers an exciting Live and Learn Study Abroad Program in the Czech Republic, in partnership with Palacky University in the historic city of Olomouc. This least expensive, quality European program serves the needs of all college majors, including education and psychology majors. A participant may earn 3-6 credit hours that include Abnormal Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Czech Cultural Studies. Program costs include roundtrip airfare from Atlanta-Prague, accommodations, course-related field excursions, trips to Krakow and Auschwitz (Poland), Prague, Vienna, study abroad insurance, ISIC Card, ground transportation, and local transportation passes. The package cost does not include tuition, textbooks, meals, passport and related expenses, or any other costs beyond those listed above. |

Academic Credit and Financial Aid
You will register and receive credit for VSU courses. Financial aid including the HOPE Scholarship, Pell Grant, Stafford Loan, and institutional scholarships may be applied to study abroad programs. Some special Study Abroad Scholarships are also available for these programs. Contact CIP for details.
