Strengthening Valdosta State University's role as an agent of innovative changes and cultural enhancement in the region and a world class learner-centered educational institution, the Center for International Programs (CIP) coordinates, promotes, and supports international activities on campus. CIP fosters international expertise by facilitating faculty and student international exchanges and study abroad, coordinating international students' and scholars' services, supporting international scholarly activities on campus, and leading the public engagement in international affairs.

To become a recognized institutional leader of quality international education and innovation committed to the creation of teaching and learning environment that enhances global understanding and provides the necessary knowledge and skills to deal with the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Our Mission

The Center for International Programs coordinates and promotes the international dimension of teaching, learning, research, and public engagement at Valdosta State University through:
