Science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics initiative (STEM)

The VSU College of Arts and Sciences’ STEM Initiative is a cohesive program targeted at enhancing the STEM curriculum efficacy of instruction and student experience, increasing student success in core STEM courses, recruiting and retaining majors in STEM areas and preparing them for careers in STEM fields, such as teaching, research and industry.

Summer 2012

  • June 4 - 8, 2012, Camp Invention!
    Camp Invention is a one week daycamp for grades 1 - 6. The program focuses on science, but blends in math, history and the arts for an integrated curriculun in a fun-filled, activity-driven environment.
