Abstract
Nicole Faulk from Southern Nuclear Operating Company will discuss nuclear energy production at Southern Company and tell you about nuclear energy's role in providing clean, safe, reliable energy for the future. The presenter will provide an overview of Southern Company and outline the company's plans for potential new nuclear generation. She will tell you about the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's new licensing process for nuclear generation, and she will address the need for additional electricity, particularly in the Southeast.
