Welcome to the Valdosta State University Center for Applied Research (CAR). CAR is here to help connect faculty expertise in the College of Arts & Sciences with applied research needs within our 41-county service region. We can help with design, implementation, and analysis of problems that require expert assistance. Our faculty have outstanding research experience in many fields and can serve as consultants and researchers for businesses, non-profits, local and state governments, private organizations, and federal and international agencies. Good News!! Student Travel Awards are available for spring semester 2008. These awards provide up to $250 for students from the College of Arts & Sciences who are presenting a research paper or poster at a meeting. For application details, please download the form on the left.
