Veteran Honor Cord

VSU Student Veterans Association and AMP provided complimentary red, white and blue honor cords to 18 military and veteran graduates during VSU's commencement ceremony May 5, 2012, Valdosta GA. The cords served as a recognition of the service to the country by these deserving VSU grads. Honor cords will also be worn by military graduates during June 1st ceremonies at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, St. Marys GA.

VSU waives mandatory fees for active duty military personnel at Georgia bases

VSU waives any mandatory fee for active duty military personnel enrolled in VSU programs at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, Moody AFB and the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia.
