2 Ways to Visit

Group tours are also welcomed to visit the campus. Please visit our group tour information page for more information.

Prospective students and families are encouraged to visit the campus by daily tours or the Visitation Day. Visitors to campus should wear comfortable attire and shoes and be prepared to spend an hour viewing the campus on foot. We also advise visitors to be aware of the weather before arrival and plan accordingly.

The Admissions Office offers tours Monday-Friday.

To reserve an appointment please call or email our office with:

1) Date & time preferred

2) Prospective student's name

3) Total number of people on tour

4) Contact phone number (preferably cell)

 

2) Campus Visitation Days

Directions to Physical Education Complex (Visitation Days)

Visitation Days are offered each academic school year. On these days prospective Juniors/Seniors and their families are able to:

  • Meet the representatives from 70 different majors as well as a variety of student organizations
  • Receive a walking campus tour by current VSU student including tours of residence halls. Tours generally last one hour. Please keep in mind this is a walking tour. Those having difficulty walking for this long should consider meeting the group at the Dining Hall.
  • Have lunch in the Palms Dining Center
