Trying to make your final college decision? Or just beginning your college search?

At Valdosta State, we know how stressful it is trying to find the college that is the best fit for you. We provide two ways to visit our campus. Through each way you will get to experience Valdosta State as a student here does everyday. You will be taken on a walking campus tour where we will show you our newly renovated residence halls or recently constructed suite style halls. You will have the chance to see classrooms as well as our Student Recreation Center. Our Admissions Counselors will be on hand to answer any questions you have about Valdosta State University. Please choose one of the two options below to view our campus.

Directions to the Office of Admissions (Daily Campus Tours)

Campus tours are offered twice daily Monday - Friday (by appointment). On these days prospective students and their families are able to:

  • Participate in a walking campus tour by one of our Admissions Counselors. The tour will consist of a general overview of the campus including residence halls (suite & traditional style), classrooms, student recreation center, and places to eat.
  • Receive an information session led by an Admissions Counselor including entrance requirements, scholarships, and financial aid information.
  • The opportunity to visit any other information office or department not covered during the tours.

To reserve an appointment please call or email our office with:

1) Date (we will reply with times available)

2) Prospective student's name

3) Total number of people on tour

4) Contact phone number (preferably cell)

Our daily campus tours are kept small. To accommodate as many students as possible, we ask that each student limit their guests to two.

Small children are discouraged since a portion of the tour is driving and we do not provide the proper car seats for their safety.

Visitation Days are offered each academic school year. On these days prospective Juniors/Seniors and their families are able to:

  • Meet the representatives from 70 different majors as well as a variety of student organizations.
