Joint Enrollment/ACCEL

Valdosta State University accepts applications on a rolling admissions basis. Upon receipt of all required documents, the student is most often notified of an admissions decision within 7-10 business days.

Joint enrolled students are juniors and seniors who receive high school credit and college credit at the same time by taking courses at Valdosta State. **

  1. Test Scores (either)

    SAT

    • Minimum total score of 1100 (critical reading & math)

      • Minimum 530 Critical Reading

      • Minimum 530 Math

    ACT

    • Minimum Composite of 24

      • Minimum 23 English

      • Minimum 22 Math

  2. Letters of Recommendations

    • Letter from parent(s)

    • Letter of permission from guidance counselor/principal

  3. High School Transcripts

    • 3.0 academic GPA

    • Up to date transcripts must be sent from high school

    • Students must be on-track with the college preparatory curriculum.

**Please note, on campus housing is not available for jointly enrolled students. To participate in any joint enrollment programs students must live within a 50 mile radius of Valdosta State University and live with immediate family.
