The Student Recreation Center This 76,000- square-foot facility houses multiple courts, a heated swimming pool, 24-foot climbing wall, indoor track, a group fitness studio, a state of the art weight room, and a brand-new functional training room. CORE Outdoors Enjoy the great outdoors with CORE (Center for Outdoor Recreational Experiences) — the place for VSU students, faculty, and staff to learn about the outdoors, gain leadership skills, make new friends, and go on exciting outdoor adventures! Greek Life Greek Life has been around for more than 50 years at Valdosta State. Today, our Greek community consists of 24 chapters that provide endless opportunities for scholarship, community service, diversity, involvement, and friendship. Through involvement in Greek Life, you’ll gain valuable social and leadership skills, as well as a holistic college experience. Centralized Advising Centralized Advising will provide first-year students who have earned less than 30 semester
hours with exceptional academic guidance. It is a collaborative effort from the advising team, First Year Programs, and on-campus partners such as Career Opportunities and the Student Success Center.
