So much has gone on this semester; I have not had much time to blog. One thing that I thought was exciting is the football playoff game against Carson-Newman College. Even though we did not win the championship game, I was so excited to be a part of it. The game was on television, it was so exciting to have the NCAA crew there. It was like the whole college was celebrities. We did win that game that night; we came back from behind to win. It is still hard to get used to how big sports are in the town of Valdosta. Now we have started the basketball season, and the games are so much fun. I can’t believe the first semester is over, I just took my last exam for the semester, and I did very well. I have to say my first semester in college was a good one. I managed to keep my grades up, while being a Valdosta State Cheerleader. It was hard work, and at times I did not know how I was going to do both. I hung in there and put the pedal to the metal, and came out on top. I have to thank my parents for their help with getting me through this. On those nights when I thought I could not make it, my parents were there to cheer me on. As the first semester has come to a close I look forward to the next. I am ready for winter break though!!!!
