Well, hello future Blazers! I’ll have to warn you, if this blog doesn’t make much sense it’s because of this thing called sleep…I can’t seem to find it.  It must have run away from me, because I have not seen it in weeks! So, tell me if you see it! : ) I’m in the library as we speak and last time I checked the library was supposed to be quiet…and I’m not really hearing too much silence. But, it keeps me awake.   Cell phones ringing, printers printing (oh and by the way printing paper here is free, so I just print my little heart out! I love that) and then there’s the weird/creepy guys who stare at me like they have never seen a smart, beautiful, amazing girl before.  And that was totally a joke, so don’t hate just yet!  Ha-ha...

Valdosta is just insanely off the chain.  I love it here.  The freedom is so refreshing--kind of like a clean load of laundry! My classes are actually very fun.  Can you believe that? Classes can be exciting.  Much better than high school classes might I add.  There are the perfect amount of students in each class, so you’re not all up on someone elses business, but you aren’t afraid to ask your neighbor for a piece of paper if you need it.  I do have the dreaded public speaking class, which I fear more than anything.  But, I plan to conquer that fear so I can succeed in what I want to do in life, which is be a broadcaster.

I think I’ve fallen in love with my English teacher.  He’s cancelled class twice already and that agreed with my brain just fine!  I saw that note on the door and headed straight back to surprise my pillow and bed. : ) (they were definitely happy to see me)

Volleyball is headed off to a great start. We just defeated Brewton Parker for our first win.  We had a great turn-out from the spirited Blazer fans.  I can’t wait for football season to start so I can be the one watching not playing.  I think I might have the urge to paint my whole body red and black, but I’ll have to get back to you on that one.

I have so much more to tell you, but my stomach is saying "take me to Palms" so I think I’ll go get me some mystery meat! Ha-ha I am joking.  The Palms is not too bad like some college cafeterias are.  Don’t let the name “sweaty palms” fool ya! Well let me run, and I will write again soon!!
