Wow! Everything has been so crazy lately! School is getting harder. It is easier if I study along and along so I don't freak out the day before the test. But my teachers are really good so that helps alot. Phi Mu has been so much fun! It is very time consuming, but it is always fun. We have been some things for our Philanthropy which is the Children's Miracle Network. Our whole Chapter actually got to go and visit Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. I don't think I have ever seen babies that tiny in my entire life! It was definitely an experience that I will never forget. Big/Little week was also tons of fun. Everyday you get a huge basket full of Phi Mu stuff and a letter with hints helping you guess who your big may be. After being confused for 4 straight days I finally got to find out who my big was. Taylor Samuel! I was so excited because the whole week she had tricked me into thinking someone else was my Big. Every year the new Phi's put on a dance/party for the older sisters. Our theme was "Lights, Camera, Action!" Everyone had to dress up like famous couples from different movies. It turned out to be so much fun. It also gave the new girls a chance to bond with some of the older girls outside of chapter. |
