Hey Everyone!!!
Wow. This semester is winding down fast! I cant believe that there is only 35 more days until Christmas!! This semester flew by, it’s crazy! Looks like I should update about everything going on!
Lets see here..the weekend of Halloween I went home and visited my friends at West Georgia! We dressed up and went out! It was a lot of fun catching up with them and hanging out! :-D
My roommate and I won the room decorating contest for Hopper Hall.. So that was pretty exciting!! I was so happy when I got the e-mail saying we won! The next week, we went to the Housing and Residence Life office to pick up some prizes they had for us. It was cool! We both got a basket full of goodies, like a blanket, picture frames, candy, magnets, and some other cute notepads for our desks.
A couple of weeks ago my friend came down from my hometown and I got a chance to show him around campus and such. He’s a prospective student and thinking of coming here next year! Yay!
On Saturday November 8th I got to help out with visitation. Taton and I directed a tour around campus to a bunch of prospective students. It was fun! I thought that I would be nervous since I have never done a tour but it wasn’t bad at all! We had a good group of people and I wish them luck! :-D
Hopper Hall dining is now open, which is exciting! Now there is more of a variety besides Palms. They are also open on Thursdays from 10-2am serving breakfast! Yum!
The other night my roommate Catherine, and Taton went to the Boys basketball game against Fort Valley State! We won! The score was 87-58!! It was a lot of fun! I love basketball! I plan on going to a lot more games. GO BLAZERS!
Friday night I went to a Bonfire to hang out with some friends! I have had so much fun this semester! I can’t believe it’s almost over. I will write again when I get time during the week of finals. Ah! Wish me luck!
