March 23, 2008Alright, time for another blog. I know it has once again been a while since my last entry but things have been crazier than ever. All my classes have finally decided to pick up all at once. Spring Break was two weeks ago now and boy did I need that week of relaxation. I went to the beach along with thousands of other college students and really had a great time. Spending the day at the beach and then going out at night really got my mind off school for a while but the following Monday was certainly a slap in the face. There is only about a month and a half left of the semester and all my classes are becoming extremely demanding. On top of all that, I have finally reached the point in the semester where I left off in my classes from fall so I am now taking eight classes total for approximately 22 hours? As the semester comes to a close grades are more important than ever because each class only has one or two more assignments which decide my final grade so I am doing my best to keep up with all of them and not let anything be unsatisfactory. The construction around campus continues to amaze me every day. It seems as though every time I turn around something else has been done, new ground has been broken, or another improvement has been made. By next fall Valdosta State is going to have an even more amazing campus. Now for an update about my leg, I am finally walking normal or close to normal and no longer having to take pain medication. Although some days more than others my leg gets really sore, but that is to be expected with all the walking I do around campus. I am looking forward to completing my first year at Valdosta State and anxious for summer just as any other college student. Currently I plan to return home and take a few summer courses at Kennesaw State and then return next fall. Like I said that is my plan as of today, lately things have been changing at the drop of the hat so I have had to learn to just go with the flow. Well, I have many things to do before heading back to school tomorrow so I will have to cut this blog short, but hopefully I will be able to update again soon.
Until next time, Kevin |
