Hello everyone! Happy New Year!

I can’t believe it is already Spring Semester! Last semester flew by! I had such a blast too! My break was very good. It was kind of long and I was ready to get back to Valdosta! I couldn’t believe how much I had missed it here. I missed it so much I came back the first day that we could get back into the dorms. I was so excited to see all my friends that I didn’t get to see over the whole break.

Last semester’s grades were great! (At least I thought they were for my first semester in college). I got 3 A’s and 3 B’s which gives me a grade point average of 3.4! My parents were so proud of me so that was a nice little Christmas present for them as well. This semester I am shooting for all A’s.

When I got back to Valdosta I moved all my belongings back into my room and got settled in. I went looking for a job when I got back and found one! I am now employed at Boom’s Fitness across from the mall! This will definitely give my dad’s wallet a little time to breathe! A couple days after I got back, my roommate, Catherine, got here! I was so excited to see her! Later that week I found out that she is going back home to go to a school closer to her hometown. I’m pretty bummed about it. I will be getting a new roommate in the next week or so.

My classes are going great! I am really looking forward to this semester! I’m ready to meet more people than I did last semester and make really good grades!
